Teams in the Ashanti Region become the third group of teams to receive support through the community sports improvement program, following similar outreaches in Greater Accra and Central Region.

Local sports teams in the Central Region, have received various forms of support through Betway's community support program, Betway Up, which was introduced with the aim of uplifting sports teams in Ghana.

The first ever edition of the Betway Ball Camp was held on the 15 October 2020 at Teiman. Targeting female sports coaches and professionals from various sports disciplines, the event was organized by the Ghana’s leading online sports betting company, Betway, as part of its efforts to promote sports development in Ghana.
 

This year’s Community Shield will see FA Cup winners, Arsenal, take on Premier League champions, Liverpool, at the Wembley Stadium on 29 August 2020.
